My Take On Lieberman

Lieberman was recently quoted as saying,

"It's time for Democrats who distrust President Bush to acknowledge that he will be the commander in chief for three more critical years, and that in matters of war we undermine the president's credibility at our nation's peril," Lieberman said in a speech that can be found on his official website, www.Lieberman.senate.gov."

One radio host wrote a column that said Lieberman was basically stating, "that those who do not parrot his (Bush's) support are unpatriotic."

When Lieberman went on to that host's show, he told the host he was upset by those words. And well he should be!

Bloggers are up in arms about Lieberman 'losing it' on the show. Well, I would lose it too if some arrogant radio show host decided it was his right to twist what I was saying, and not give me the respect to rebut it.

MY take is, listen to what Lieberman said, not what your conflict revolving mind wants to see and hear! Lieberman was simply saying that criticism of Bush, for the sake of criticism alone, is NOT productive at this juncture. America is falling, and the more we harp on our "elected leader" the worse it is going to get.

We've been badmouthing Bush for 5 fucking years now. Not ONE good thing has come of it! So Joe "The Mouth" Lieberman was just pointing that out. He's saying, this kind of hate criticism is hurting more than its helping.

And you sir, Mr. McEnroe, you are despicable for using your clout to spread this kind of hateful interpretation of Joe's words. What kind of a democrat are you?
